Haven Electrical Ltd is an electrical contracting company based at Unit 5, Carrigaline Industrial Estate, Co Cork, Ireland. We provide residential, commercial, and testing & certification electrical services across Cork City and County.

What Data We Collect
When you fill in our quote request form or contact us directly, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your address or Eircode (to assess the job location)
- A description of the electrical work you need
- Whether the job is residential or commercial
We also collect standard website analytics data through Google Analytics (page visits, browser type, approximate location). This data is anonymised and aggregated — it doesn’t identify you personally.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your quote request or enquiry
- Schedule and carry out electrical work
- Follow up on jobs we’ve completed
- Send you relevant information about your booking (no marketing emails unless you opt in)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we process your data on the following bases:
- Contract performance — when you’ve booked or requested work from us
- Legitimate interest — to respond to your enquiry and follow up on jobs
- Legal obligation — to retain certain financial records as required by Irish tax law
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Enquiries that don’t become jobs — retained for 2 years, then deleted
- Customer job records (invoices, job details) — retained for 7 years in line with Revenue requirements
- Analytics data — held by Google per their standard retention settings (26 months by default)
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)

Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to our CRM and business tools is protected by strong passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication. No system is 100% secure, but we do our best.
